Dyno Tuning & ECU Flashing
Dyno Tuning
A dyno is used to measure your horsepower and torque readings to check the condition of your bike.
We can diagnose your bike’s running problems on our dyno. We don’t try to fix your bike by riding it up and down the street.
We also use the dyno to check horsepower and torque; tune for a power commander, Bazzaz, Kawasaki Kit ECU, Yamaha ECU, and Yoshimura Kit box; and map for different fuels.
At Farrell Performance we have a special-built dyno tuning room consisting of:
ECU Flashing
The ECU controls the fuel delivery from various sensors on the bike. That fuel flow is usually much too lean on the ECU factory settings. An air/fuel ratio that is too lean (not enough fuel) can result in shorter engine life, while an air/fuel ratio that is too rich (too much fuel) can also result in shorter engine life, as well as waste fuel.
If you want the best tuning for your money, ECU flashing is the way to go.
ECU flashing is different than putting on a Power Commander or Bazzaz unit. These “piggyback” systems are very limited in what they can tune, thus limiting your bike’s performance.
Depending on the bike model, ECU Flashing can allow for many performance features, such as:
And much more!
NOTE: We DO NOT offer ECU flashing without a full tune. Every bike needs this in order to run correctly.
